Good luck activities

There aren’t many activities dedicated solely for wishing a friend good luck, unless of course you are a witch and dance around your cauldron naked chanting incantations of good fortune while sprinkling magic fairy dust on a photo of the “lucky” recipient.

Of course you could always find a field and comb through the dog mess, old shoes, abandoned picnics and old bones for a four leaf clover – you’ll certainly need some luck after all the germs you’ve picked up, that and a tetanus shot. But yes to cut a long story short you can spend an afternoon in the sunshine laughing, looking for 4 leaf clovers and making some DIY flower crowns. Those aren’t particularly lucky but they’re pretty and fun to make… While you’re in the field scouring for four leaf clovers you might want to cover all your bases and make a wish on a dandelion, these soft looking little balls of puff are just as effective as wishing upon a star.

However, sunshine and four leafed clovers don’t mean much if you’re a night owl and don’t really see the light of day, don’t worry there is something for you guys too; shooting stars. You and your friend/ family member could always find a roof, bring along a picnic blanket and watch the night sky for a shooting star. Just like NetFlorist’s star gazer lilies.

Of course, we can’t disregard the annual turkey wish bone – this wish for good luck is extra special and guaranteed to work because of all the left over magic from Christmas. Of course you have to be lucky enough to get the bit of the wish bone that actually grants wishes, otherwise you’re just wishing on a turkeys butt bone and that’s just not magical at all.

Visit NetFlorist for all your good luck flowers and gifts.
